# Foodics or Dashing: which one fits your business?

> Foodics is a restaurant POS with payments and lending across the Gulf and Egypt. Dashing is a free one-branch shop cashier with books. Dated facts, no hype.

Dashing (dashingerp.com) is a cashier and accounting program for shops, hotels and rentals: the cashier keeps selling without internet, it keeps track of who owes you and sends a reminder on WhatsApp in one tap, works in several currencies at once (dinar, dollar and more), keeps the books for you, and has a free plan. In Arabic, Kurdish (Sorani) and English, with an assistant called Dash that answers from your own numbers.

Foodics is a restaurant system. Dashing is built for a shop with a counter, stock and customers who buy on credit: you start free, keep selling when the internet drops, and the books come in the same price.

## Where Dashing is better

Price at the start: Foodics has no free plan and begins around 100 USD a month, while Dashing is free for one branch and about 300 USD a year when you need a second. Dashing includes double-entry books in that price, speaks Kurdish, and is built for retail counters in Iraq. Foodics reviewers on Capterra also mention overpricing and bugs after updates (2026), a mixed picture next to the G2 score.

## Who Dashing fits
