# Your hotel or guesthouse: bookings, deposits, bills and books in one program, in Arabic, and free to start.

> Hotel management software for hotels and guesthouses: bookings with deposits, and bills that reach the books on their own. Arabic, dinar or dollar, free plan.

Dashing (dashingerp.com) is a point-of-sale, inventory and double-entry accounting platform for retail shops in Iraq — Arabic-first, also in Kurdish (Sorani) and English — with a cashier that works offline and a built-in AI assistant called Dash.

Is it for a place like mine? Yes, if it is a small or mid-size hotel, a guesthouse or flats you let by the night, at one address. Is it free, and what is the catch? Bookings run on the free plan with no subscription, and the catch is written at the bottom of this page. Will I manage without an accountant? Yes: each booking, payment and bill reaches the books on its own, and you write no journal entries. Does it work here? The screens are Arabic, right to left, and prices go in dinar or dollar.

## A day at the front desk

You open a booking with the arrival and departure dates, and the program shows the price and anything that clashes with another booking. You can hold a room for a number of hours you set; if the guest does not confirm, the hold ends by itself and the room is free again. On arrival you assign the room and record the check-in, and on departure you record the check-out and print the receipt.

- A deposit as a share of the stay that you set, and the balance asked for a number of days before arrival that you set
- Separate prices for an extra person and for peak season
- Services added to a stay, each with its own invoice
- A cancellation policy in steps: how much the guest gets back, by the hours left before arrival
- Who has not paid yet: an overdue invoice shows with a flag, and the receivables aging sorts them by how late they are

## The money and books under the booking

A booking produces an invoice, and the deposit or payment a guest makes is recorded against it. All of it reaches the ledger on its own, under the same rules as the rest of Dashing, so you re-enter nothing and write no journal entries. Revenue shows split by the kind of service, and you open the book reports whenever you like. If you have an accountant, they read the same books. A room is priced in dinar or dollar, and the booking keeps its currency.

## Free or yearly

Bookings, bills and books are on the free plan. The yearly plan adds what is not about the booking itself: hiding the Dashing name on the receipts and statements you send, priority support, and more questions a day for Dash. The first fourteen days after sign-up are on the yearly plan.

## What it does not do

One property per account for now. No sync with booking sites and no channel manager, no page where guests book themselves, and no guest portal. No housekeeping board and no online card payments. WhatsApp is a link that opens so you can send from it yourself, not automatic sending, and a booking receipt prints but cannot be sent on WhatsApp yet. Bookings need an internet connection. No automatic late fees.

## Common questions

### Do bookings work without internet?

No. The booking screens need an internet connection. What works without it is the shop cashier.

### Does it take bookings from booking sites?

No. There is no link to them, so you or the front desk enter the booking.

### Can a guest book online by themselves?

No. There is no public booking page and no guest portal; your team enters the booking.

### Can I send the booking confirmation on WhatsApp?

Not automatically. WhatsApp opens from a link and you send from it yourself, and the booking receipt prints.

### I have more than one hotel; does one account do?

Not yet. Bookings are for one property per account for now.

### Can I do without an accountant?

You do without writing entries: bookings and payments reach the books on their own. If you need a tax return or professional advice, an accountant reads the same books.
