## What it means for a shop owner

Print it on the receipt and at the till so everyone knows before buying. A clear policy cuts arguments and wins trust. Name the exceptions, such as food and custom items.

Policy: returns within 7 days in new condition. A customer came on day 5 and was accepted, another on day 9 and was declined.
