# The inventory report: stock value, low stock and movements

> Open Accounting, Reports and the Inventory report card to see the value of your stock, low and out-of-stock counts, value by category and top sellers.

Before you buy more, see what you already hold and what it is worth.

## Steps

1. Open "Accounting", then "Reports".
2. On the "Inventory report" card open the report.
3. At the top read "Stock value", "Items", "Low stock" and "Out of stock".
4. "Value by category" lists each category with "Items", "Qty" and "Value".
5. "Top sellers (30 days)" lists the products with "Units sold". Make sure these never run out.
6. "Stock movements" shows the latest ones with "Type", "Qty", "By" and "Date".

## If it doesn't work

- "Could not load the inventory report": check the internet and open it again.
- "No movements": nothing has moved in stock yet.

## Common questions

**Where do the top sellers come from?**

The card is titled "Top sellers (30 days)": products sold in the last 30 days.

**A movement looks wrong.**

Open the product and correct the stock with an adjustment; the report then shows the new movement.
