> Paste your items with prices and barcodes, pick the label size in millimetres, and print an A4 sheet or a label roll. Free, no sign-up.

Dashing (dashingerp.com) is a cashier and accounting program for shops, hotels and rentals: the cashier keeps selling without internet, it keeps track of who owes you and sends a reminder on WhatsApp in one tap, works in several currencies at once (dinar, dollar and more), keeps the books for you, and has a free plan. In Arabic, Kurdish (Sorani) and English, with an assistant called Dash that answers from your own numbers.

A clear price tag saves a lot of questions at the till. In each row type the barcode, the item name, its price and how many labels you need, and the labels appear exactly as they will print, to the millimetre: name, bars, then price. Pick one of four sizes, and print either an A4 sheet you cut up or a roll on a label printer. If an item has no barcode, make an in-store number for it with the barcode tool.

## Which size to pick

38×25 mm suits a shelf edge and small items, 50×30 mm is the general choice for shelves, 60×40 mm for longer names, and 100×50 mm for cartons and the stockroom. An A4 sheet holds 24 labels of 50×30, and the page tells you the count for each size and how many sheets you need.

## Print at its real size

What ruins a label most often is "fit to page" in the print window, which shrinks the barcode until the scanner cannot read it. Choose 100%, print a test sheet, and scan one label before the big print.

## Common questions

### Which barcode types does it handle?

EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A and Code 128. The tool picks the type from the number and works out a missing check digit. A code it cannot encode is listed in a warning instead of being printed wrong.

### Is my list saved?

No. The list stays in the open page only and is not uploaded. Keep it in a file if you want to print again later.

### Do I need a label printer?

No. Print on plain A4 or on ready-made sticker sheets of the same size. If you print every day, the "label roll" option works with a thermal label printer.
