Dashing (dashingerp.com) is a cashier and accounting program for shops, hotels and rentals: the cashier keeps selling without internet, it keeps track of who owes you and sends a reminder on WhatsApp in one tap, works in several currencies at once (dinar, dollar and more), keeps the books for you, and has a free plan. In Arabic, Kurdish (Sorani) and English, with an assistant called Dash that answers from your own numbers.

Add a console or table, type its hourly rate and press Start. Pause when the customer steps out, add drinks and snacks, and the total shows with a bill you can print or copy as text. Timers survive a reload of the page. If you forgot to start one, type the start and end times or the number of minutes. It all runs in your browser and accepts Arabic-Indic digits.

## How the price is worked out

Time charge = hourly rate × billed minutes ÷ 60. With rounding set to 15 minutes, a 46-minute session bills 60 minutes, so at 6,000 an hour it is 6,000. If you set a minimum and it is higher than the time charge, the minimum is used. Each extra then adds its price times its quantity.

## Choosing the rounding

Exact: the customer pays for precisely the time played. Per minute: any part of a minute counts as a minute. Per 15 or 30 minutes: any part of a block counts as the whole block, which is the easiest rule to post on the door. Rounding is always upward, so write the rule on your price board so no customer is surprised.

## A session that crosses midnight

In manual entry, if the end time is before the start time the tool counts the next day. From 22:30 to 01:15 is 165 minutes. If the two times are equal the duration is zero. For sessions longer than 24 hours, type the minutes.

## What this tool does not do

Timers are kept in this browser on this device only, so they do not appear on another device, and clearing browser data removes them. A running timer keeps counting from its start time even if you close the page. The tool does not record sales and does not keep a history of past sessions.

## Common questions

### How do I price a customer who played for 50 minutes?

Multiply the hourly rate by 50 and divide by 60. At 6,000 an hour that is 5,000. If you round up to 15 minutes, 60 minutes are billed and it is 6,000.

### Do the timers survive if I close the page?

Yes, on the same browser and device. The browser stores the start time, so the count carries on while you are away. In private browsing, or after clearing browser data, nothing is kept.

### What if I forgot to start the timer?

Choose manual entry and type the start and end times, or type the number of minutes. Rounding, the minimum and extras still apply.

### Can Dashing record the session and the drinks?

Yes. Work out the time charge here, then ring it up at Dashing's free till as an item, together with the drinks and snacks, on one sale.
