Dashing as an alternative to Loyverse
Loyverse is a free till with paid add-ons. Owners who look for an alternative usually compare offline, Arabic / Kurdish, invoicing / VAT and accounting depth. This page shows where Dashing is ahead and how to switch.
Why owners look beyond Loyverse
- Offline: Sales and shifts work offline. Refunds are disabled, no new or edited customers, no stock levels, card terminals do not work, and you cannot log out with unsynced receipts (help page, 2026-10)
- Arabic / Kurdish: 30+ app languages including Arabic; Kurdish not found (2026-10)
- Invoicing / VAT: Tax report only (2026-10)
- Accounting depth: None built in; links to other accounting tools through connectors (2026-10)
Where Dashing is ahead
- Offline: Cashier, invoices and purchase orders work offline on every plan, stock is deducted on the device, sales upload once. Reports, Dash and sign-in need a connection
- Arabic / Kurdish: Arabic, Sorani Kurdish and English; each user picks theirs
- Invoicing / VAT: Invoices; optional VAT with tax codes and a return from the books
- Accounting depth: Full double entry: income statement, balance sheet, trial balance, month close, accountant seat

Start freeHow to switch to Dashing
- Export your item list from the current tool as a CSV or Excel file. Dashing reads headings in Arabic or English; the name and the sale price are the minimum.
- Open Inventory, then Import. A dry run shows what is ready and which rows have errors before anything is saved. The import creates new items only; a code or barcode already in your shop is skipped.
- Save your customers as a CSV with a Debt column, then open Customers and Import. Each debt becomes an opening balance and the customer shows in the reminder list at once. Upload each file once: a second upload adds the names again.
- What does not move: old invoices and supplier balances; only one balance per customer comes across. Keep your old records until you are sure.

Free for one branch with no card and no end date; the yearly plan is 420,000 IQD in Iraq or about 300 USD elsewhere and adds a second branch.
What does Loyverse not do offline?
According to its own help page (2026-10): refunds are disabled, customers cannot be added or edited, stock levels are not shown, card terminals do not work, and you cannot log out while receipts are unsynced.
