Make your menu and print it: categories, items and prices.

A clear menu on the table or the wall cuts questions and speeds up ordering. Type your business name, add a category with its items, and give each item a name, an optional price and an optional short description. The menu appears next to the form as it will print, on an A4 sheet or a narrow 80 mm strip. If you want a QR code, type the link to your page or profile and it appears at the foot of the menu.

Print size

The menu is kept in your browser only, and nothing leaves your device.

Tips for a menu that reads fast

Keep the categories few and familiar, and put the items people order most at the top of each one. Write a description only where it helps: a short line gets read, a paragraph does not. An item with no price prints without one, which suits anything whose price changes every day.

A4 or the narrow strip

An A4 sheet suits tables, walls and lamination. The narrow 80 mm strip suits a thermal receipt printer, so you can print a short menu to hand to each table or stick at the till.

Common questions

Is the price required?

No. The price and the description are optional, and an item with no price shows its name only.

Is my menu saved?

Yes, in your browser only, so you can edit it next time. It is not uploaded anywhere.

What does the QR code do?

It opens the link you typed, such as your page, your profile or a longer menu. Leave it empty if you do not need it.

Can I move the items into a till system?

Yes. If you open a free shop in Dashing, it offers to bring the items that have a price in as products, and you review them before confirming. Items without a price are not brought in.

Dashing does this for every item, automatically, in your shop.
