For flower shops

For flower shops: what wilts is recorded, and what sells on occasions is counted.

Dashing is for a flower shop that sells single stems and ready bouquets, loses part of its stock to wilting every week, and deals with hotels and event halls on credit: units and fractional quantities are accepted, wastage is recorded with a reason, and offers start and end on a date.

The stem and the bouquet, two items, two prices

You define the stem as the base unit and the bunch with its factor, so 12 stems or a whole bunch sell at their own price. A ready bouquet is a separate item with a fixed price. Each has its own stock and barcode.

Wilted stock is recorded with a reason

From the item page you adjust stock with the reason damage / loss, so the stock drops and the entry is logged. At month end you know how much each item cost you without a hand count.

Offers for the occasions

An offer as a percentage or an amount between two dates, such as Mother's Day or Valentine's Day, applies on its own at the till and stops on its date. No need to edit prices by hand before and after the occasion.

A credit account for hotels and halls

A customer has a credit limit and a due date, buys on their account and pays later. You share their statement as a link on WhatsApp, and they see their invoices, payments and balance with no app.

What it does not do

There is no bouquet builder: a bouquet is an item with a fixed price and its stems are not deducted from stock automatically. It does not track temperature or the cold chain, and there is no online store or driver delivery.

Common questions

Can I sell the stem and the bunch from the same item?

Yes. Make the stem the base unit and define the bunch with its factor, and stock is deducted in stems either way.

How do I record wilted flowers?

On the item page choose Adjust stock, then Damage / loss, and type the quantity. The adjustment is booked and logged.

Can I keep selling on a busy day if the internet drops?

Yes. Selling at the till does not wait for the internet, and the data is sent when it returns.
