For optical shops: the frame in its colors and sizes, payment in installments, and no prescription records.
Dashing is for an optical shop that sells frames, sunglasses, contact lenses and accessories as products: each frame has colors and sizes with a barcode per variant, a customer has an account, and the dearer pieces can be paid in installments. It is a selling program, not a medical record.
A frame in colors and sizes
The frame is a parent product with its variants entered under it, each color and size with its own barcode and stock in every branch. What has no barcode gets a label printed from Inventory.
Installments and the customer account
You sell the glasses on an installment plan on the invoice with a deposit, each payment recorded against it. A regular customer has an account showing what they owe, and you share the statement as a link.

An exchange of one frame for another happens in one transaction that settles only the difference, with or without the receipt; without it the software lists matching sales within a window you set and records the choice under the cashier.
Contact lenses with an expiry date
Switch batches on for lenses and solutions so the nearest expiry sells first and a card shows what expires within 30 days.
What it does not do
No prescriptions and no eye-test records: it does not store eye measurements. No custom lens orders for a lab and no appointments.
Common questions
Can I record a customer prescription?
No. Dashing does not store prescriptions or eye measurements; they stay in your own notebook or medical system.
Can I sell glasses on installments?
Yes, with a plan on the invoice, a deposit and payments recorded against it.
How do I see what is left of one color?
The item page shows the stock of each variant in each branch.
