For sanitary ware and ceramics: tiles by the metre and the box, and the contractor buys on credit up to a known limit.
Dashing is for a ceramics and sanitary shop that sells tile by the square metre, the box and the piece, deals with contractors who buy on credit, receives big shipments in parts, and writes the customer a price before they decide.
The metre, the box and the piece
You define the square metre as the base unit and the box with its factor and barcode: scanning a box deducts its metres, and 12.5 square metres are sold by typing the quantity with a fraction. Stock is kept in the base unit.
Sizes and shades
Tile in sizes and shades is a parent product with variants, each with its own barcode and stock in the showroom and the warehouse.

Start freeThe contractor and credit
What the contractor takes goes on their account up to a credit limit you set, their payments are collected and recorded, and the statement is sent as a link. A quote is written before the sale.
Receiving a shipment in parts
A supplier shipment is received in parts and the payable is booked for what arrived each time, while a minimum per item warns you before it runs out.
What it does not do
No area calculator and no estimate of how much tile a room needs. No scheduling for delivery or installation; breakage is recorded as a stock adjustment.
Common questions
Can I sell half a box?
Yes. Fractional quantities are accepted, and you sell by the metre or the piece, whichever unit you defined.
Can I cap what a contractor owes?
Yes. A credit limit per customer from their page.
How do I record a broken piece?
With a stock adjustment and a reason, so the balance drops and the change stays in the log.
