Salary advance
A salary advance is an amount an employee takes before payday that is deducted from his pay later.
What it means for a shop owner
Write down the amount and repayment plan and have the employee sign. Do not mix shop money with your own. Set a ceiling so it does not pile up.
A worked example
An advance of 300 is deducted over 3 months at 100 a month.
