Supplier

A supplier is the party you buy goods or materials from to sell or use, often on credit terms.

What it means for a shop owner

Keep for each supplier the name, delivery time, payment terms and what you owe. That shows who to pay first and who is late delivering. Compare two suppliers for an important item to get the best price.

A worked example

You bought goods worth 900 from a supplier and paid 400. You owe 500, due in 30 days.
