A building materials delivery note: the unit, the truck and who received at site.
Heavy materials arrive by truck at sites, and the person receiving is often a worker, not the project owner. This template adds the unit and the truck number, and leaves the received column for whoever signs on site, so it records what each truck unloaded and how many trips came. It has sample rows and no prices.
Sample rows: Building materials

Common questions
Why write the truck number?
Because one site may receive four trips in a day, and the truck number separates them. If a quantity is disputed, you know which trip to check.
Who signs at the site?
Whoever the owner authorised to receive, who writes their name beside the signature. Ask the customer to tell you the name in advance.
What about loads that arrive short?
The receiver writes the actual quantity in the received column and the invoice is settled on that basis. Sand and gravel are measured by volume, so agree the method beforehand.
