A furniture delivery note: packages, floor and the condition on arrival.

One piece of furniture may come in three packages, and if one is missing it cannot be assembled. This template shows the number of packages and the floor it is carried to, and leaves a received column for the condition when opened. It has sample rows and no prices.

Common questions

How do I check packages at the door?

Count the packages against the column before the driver leaves, and look over the boxes for breaks or damp. Write any note before signing.

What if the lift is too small?

Ask the customer about the stairs and lift before delivery, and write the floor on the note so the crew is ready. Delivery to the door only can have its own price if you decide so.

Does delivery include assembly?

That is your decision, but state on the note whether the piece was assembled or left in its packages, so the two sides do not later dispute who bears any assembly fault.

Dashing does this for every item, automatically, in your shop.
