A wholesale price list: the carton price and the minimum order.

A wholesaler sets a minimum order for the buyer and prices the carton, not the piece. If those numbers are not on the list every buyer asks and the answers differ. This template adds two columns: the carton price and the minimum quantity in cartons. The figures in those two columns in the sample rows are illustrations only, and the cost and sale price cells are blank for your own numbers.

Common questions

Is the carton price the sale price?

The carton price is what the buyer pays for the whole carton. Use the sale price cell for the single-piece price if you want one, dividing the carton price by its piece count when you need it.

What does the minimum mean?

It is the fewest cartons you accept at this price. If a buyer wants fewer, quote a higher price or decline. Putting it on the list keeps it from becoming a negotiation every time.

Can I give each buyer a different price?

This is one general list at one price. For a buyer on special terms keep a separate copy in his name and leave the general list alone.
