For wholesalers

For wholesalers: a price for each trade customer, credit up to a known limit, and a statement that reaches them.

Dashing is for a wholesaler who sells to shops and restaurants by the carton and the piece, prices each trade customer from their own price list, and sells mostly on credit: the carton has a barcode apart from the piece, a customer has a credit limit and a due date, and their statement goes to them as a link.

A price list for each trade customer

You create a list such as wholesale or a special contract with set prices for items and assign it to the customer, and their cart is priced on its own at the till. An item not on the list sells at the retail price. There is no blanket percentage discount across a whole list.

Adding a customer and a credit limit

The carton and the piece, two barcodes

You define the base unit, then the carton with its factor and barcode, so scanning the carton adds a carton and scanning the piece adds a piece, and stock is counted in the base unit. You receive from the supplier by the carton.

Credit, limits and statements

Each customer has a credit limit and a due date, an invoice that goes over the limit is flagged, payments are recorded with a receipt, and you share their statement as a link on WhatsApp showing invoices, payments and balance.

Buying and branches

Purchase orders with a cost per line, receiving in parts, reorder suggestions from the minimum, stock transfers between branches or warehouses, and selling without the internet.

What it does not do

There are no sales reps, no delivery routes or van stock, and no tracking of drivers. There are no quantity-break prices and no portal where the customer places their own order: your team enters the order.

Common questions

Can I set a different price for each customer?

Yes, with price lists: assign each customer a list, and items not on it sell at the retail price.

What happens if a customer goes over the credit limit?

A credit invoice that exceeds the limit is flagged, and only someone with the override permission can go past it.

Can I send a customer their statement?

Yes, as a secure link valid for 30 days that opens on WhatsApp and shows invoices, payments and balance.
