A clothing receipt: the size and the last day to exchange.

In clothing the customer comes back a day later to swap a size, so the receipt has to say what was bought and until when an exchange is allowed. This template adds the size and an exchange-until date, so your shop's policy sits in the sheet and not in memory. It has sample rows with no brands, and prices are blank.

Common questions

What do I write in the exchange column for underwear?

Write "No exchange", as in the socks example, so the customer reads the condition before paying. You decide which items are not returnable, by your shop's rules.

How many days should the exchange window be?

There is no fixed number, so pick what suits your shop and regulars, and write the actual date on each receipt instead of a general phrase. A written date leaves no room for dispute.

How do I handle an exchange for a pricier size?

Write a new receipt for the new piece, deduct the value of the returned one, and record the difference paid. Keep the old receipt with the new one.

Dashing does this for every item, automatically, in your shop.
