A sales receipt that is ready to hand over: items on top, total and change below.
Need a receipt for a sale and no point-of-sale system yet? Type the shop name and a logo line if you like, then the items with their quantity and price. The tool works out the total, takes off the discount, adds tax if you type a rate, and works out the change from the amount paid. Choose the paper width, 58 or 80 mm for a thermal printer or A4 for ordinary paper, then print or save a PDF. No sign-up and no account, and the shop details and items stay in your browser.

Made for your trade
How the receipt works out the amounts
Each item's price is multiplied by its quantity, the lines are added, the discount you type as an amount comes off, and tax is worked out on what is left after the discount. Every amount is rounded to the currency's decimals, so the dinar has none and the dollar and euro have two, which keeps the printed lines adding up to the printed total. If the amount paid is less than the total, the receipt shows what is still due instead of change.
Which paper to choose
Choose 80 mm for most shop thermal printers, 58 mm for small portable ones, and A4 when you want a receipt on a full sheet or a PDF to send. When you print, the tool sets the page to the width of the roll; pick your printer in the print window and set the margins to none.
From a one-off receipt to a shop that sells every day
This tool makes one receipt at a time. If you sell every day, retyping the items gets tiring. In a free shop on Dashing you save your products once, sell by scanning barcodes with your phone, and a receipt comes out with every sale. The button under the tool carries the priced items you typed here into the products of your new shop.
Common questions
Does it work with 58 mm and 80 mm thermal printers?
Yes. Pick the paper width and the receipt sets the print page to the roll's width, and you print from the browser's print window. Choose the printer itself and set the margins to none.
How do I save the receipt as a PDF?
Press print, then choose Save as PDF instead of a printer in the print window. This works in browsers on a computer and on a phone.
Can I add my logo?
You can add a line of text above the shop name, such as a tagline or a short name. The tool does not upload images, which keeps the receipt light and prints clearly on thermal printers.
Which currencies does it support?
It offers 19 currencies, including the Iraqi dinar, dollar, euro, pound, dirham, riyal and lira. The dinar shows with no decimals and the rest with two.
Does the tool store my data on a server?
No. The shop name and the items stay in your browser on your device, and nothing is sent anywhere unless you press the button to save the products in a free shop.
