For cleaning supplies

For cleaning supplies: liquid sold by the litre, cartons for shops, and a special price for hotels.

Dashing is for a cleaning supply shop that sells detergents by the piece and the carton, refills loose liquids by the litre, and supplies hotels, restaurants and offices at a special price on credit: units with factors are accepted, each customer can have a price list, and credit comes with a limit and a statement.

The litre, the container and the carton

You define the litre as the base unit and the 4-litre container and the carton with their factors and barcodes, so you sell 1.5 litres loose, a container or a carton from one stock. The quantity is typed with fractions.

Units and carton barcodes

Hotel and restaurant pricing

You create a price list and assign it to the trade customer, so their cart is priced on its own at the till, and an item not on the list sells at the retail price.

Credit and statements

A credit limit and a due date for each customer, a receipt when they pay, and a statement sent as a link on WhatsApp showing invoices, payments and balance.

Sharing a customer's account statement

Low stock and purchase orders

A minimum per item warns you before it runs out, and the reorder suggestions turn into one purchase order per supplier, received in parts with a cost on each line.

What it does not do

No scale or liquid meter is connected: the quantity in litres is typed by hand. It does not keep chemical safety data sheets, and it does not track delivery routes or distribution vans.

Common questions

How do I sell a litre of liquid into the customer's own container?

Make the litre the item's base unit and type the quantity at the till at the price per litre. Stock is deducted in litres.

Can I set a special price for a hotel?

Yes, with a price list you assign to the hotel customer, and their cart is priced on its own.

Can I print barcode labels for the containers?

Yes. From Inventory you print labels for any item or unit with its name and price.
