For greengrocers

For greengrocers: a price that changes every morning, weight sold by the kilo, and spoilage that does not go missing.

Dashing is for a greengrocer that buys at a different price each morning, sells by the kilo, the piece and the crate, and loses what spoils before it sells: fractional quantities are accepted, a price is edited in seconds, and spoilage is recorded with a reason.

The kilo, the piece and the crate

You define the kilo as the base unit and the crate with its factor, so you buy a crate, sell by the kilo, and stock is deducted correctly. The quantity is typed with fractions, and no scale is connected, so the weight is typed.

Buying from the supplier at today's cost

A purchase order carries a quantity and a cost on every line, so you enter today's price at receipt and it is kept as the item's cost. The supplier's debt is booked and paid later from their page.

Spoiled and wilted stock

What spoils before it sells is recorded from the item page as damage / loss in kilos and logged. You see what each item costs you between buying and selling.

Supplying shops and restaurants

A price list for a trade customer prices their cart on its own, with a credit limit and a due date on their account, and a statement sent on WhatsApp.

What it does not do

No scale is connected: you type the weight by hand. It does not pull wholesale market prices and does not track temperature or cooling.

Common questions

How do I change the tomato price every morning?

Open the item and edit the sale price, and it applies to the sales that follow. Earlier sales keep their price.

I buy a crate and sell by the kilo, how is stock counted?

Define the crate with its factor in kilos. You receive by the crate, sell by the kilo, and stock is held in kilos.

Does it work if the internet drops in the market?

Yes. Selling at the till does not wait for the internet; reports do need it.
