Debt aging
Debt aging is a report that groups what customers owe by how late it is, such as under 30 days, 30 to 60, or more.
What it means for a shop owner
A 10-day debt is not the same as a 90-day one: the first is usually collected and the second needs effort. This report shows whom to call today and how much of your money is at risk.
A worked example
Of 800 owed to you, 500 is under 30 days, 200 is 30 to 60 and 100 is over 60. The riskiest amount is the last 100.
