Cash deposit
A cash deposit is moving part of the shop's cash into your bank account.
What it means for a shop owner
It lowers the risk of theft and proves the shop's income on the bank statement. Keep the deposit slip and match it with the day's report. Vary the amounts and times to reduce risk.
A worked example
You deposit 2500 of the day's 3000 and keep 500 as change for tomorrow.
