Customer database

A customer database is an organised list of your customers' names, numbers, purchases and balances.

What it means for a shop owner

It helps you follow debts, send offers and see who buys most. Collect only what you need and protect it from unauthorised access. Ask the customer's permission before messaging offers.

A worked example

You recorded 300 customers, 40 of whom owe a balance totalling 3200.
