Tax invoice
A tax invoice shows the amount before tax, the tax itself and the total, and carries the seller details the law requires.
What it means for a shop owner
A business customer needs it to claim the tax back, and you need it if audited. What it must show differs by country, so check your own requirements before relying on a template.
A worked example
Line amount 200, tax at 5% = 10, total = 210. All three figures show separately on the invoice.
