To know what sells, open one screen instead of scrolling invoices.
Steps
- Open "Accounting", then "Reports".
- On the "Sales report" card open the report.
- At the top read "Revenue", "Orders" and "Avg order", then the counts of "Delivered", "Pending" and "Cancelled".
- "Daily sales" shows how each day went.
- "Top products" lists "Product", "Qty" and "Revenue". The first rows are your best sellers.
- "By branch" and "By category" split the same sales, so you see which branch and which category earn most.
If it doesn't work
- "Could not load the sales report": check the internet and open it again.
- Screen not in Reports: your role may not include this report; ask the owner.
What the system does not do
It does not show profit or cost; use the income statement for that.
Common questions
- Is this the same as the income statement?
- No. This one counts sales and orders for running the shop. The income statement is the accounting report of profit.
- Why do I see "No data"?
- A table with nothing to list shows it; there are no sales to count yet.
