Use Dashing inside ChatGPT and Claude

Dashing has a small connector for AI assistants. Once you add it, the assistant can do shop maths and barcode lookups for you and link to the matching Dashing calculator for each answer.

What it can do

• Barcode lookup: the country a barcode prefix belongs to, and whether the check digit is correct.
• Invoice totals, including the QR code of the Saudi simplified tax invoice.
• Account statement: the running balance and who owes whom.
• Profit, margin and markup: from cost and price, or the price for a margin you want.
• Discount: the price after a discount and what it does to your profit.
• Percentages: x percent of y, x is what percent of y, and percent change.
• VAT: add it to a price or take it out of a price that already includes it.

Add it in Claude

1. Open Claude and go to Settings, then Connectors.
2. Press "Add custom connector".
3. Paste https://dashingerp.com/mcp and save.
4. Start a chat and ask your question. Claude uses the connector when it fits.

• It needs no account and stores nothing you type.
• It is not tax or legal advice.
• It has no live exchange rates.
