Average selling price
Average selling price is total sales divided by the number of pieces sold.
What it means for a shop owner
It differs from the average basket, since this one is per piece and that one is per bill. If it falls, you may be selling cheaper items or giving more discounts. Compare it month by month.
A worked example
You sold 200 pieces for 3000, so the average is 15 per piece.
