Bin location

A bin location is a code that shows where an item sits in the warehouse, such as aisle, shelf and row.

What it means for a shop owner

It saves search time and cuts errors when picking, especially with new staff. Write it on the shelf and on the item record. Change it in the system whenever you move the item.

A worked example

The code B-2-3 means aisle B, shelf 2, row 3.
