Branch

A branch is an extra location of your business with its own sales, stock and cash box, yet it belongs to the parent shop in the accounts.

What it means for a shop owner

It needs its own stock and rights for its staff. Moving goods between branches is not a sale. Compare branch results to see which deserves to grow.

A worked example

The central branch sold 5,000 and the neighbourhood branch 2,000. The shop report shows 7,000 and you can open each branch alone.
