Cash on delivery
Cash on delivery means the customer pays for the order in cash to the courier when the goods arrive.
What it means for a shop owner
It reassures a new customer but risks refusal at the door. Record what the courier collected and handed over at day end. Track the share of refused orders.
A worked example
The courier delivered 18 orders, 16 were paid and 2 returned, so he collected 1600 of 1800.
