Peak hours
Peak hours are the times in the day or week when sales and crowding in the shop are at their highest.
What it means for a shop owner
Find them in the sales-by-hour report, then put most of your staff on and prepare the till and change beforehand. Do not have staff stock shelves at the peak. Quiet times suit counting and cleaning.
A worked example
You make 60 percent of your day between 5 and 8 in the evening, so you put 3 staff on then instead of 1.
