A tyres and oil delivery note: the size or grade and the pack size.

With tyres one wrong figure in the size means sending the whole order back, and with oil the viscosity grade decides whether it suits the engine. This template puts the size or grade and the pack size in two columns and leaves a received column, so the workshop matches what arrived to what it ordered. It has sample rows with no brands and no prices.

Common questions

Where do I find a tyre's manufacture date?

On the tyre sidewall there is a four-digit code for week and year. You can write it in the note to know the age of what you received.

How do I make sure oil is genuine?

Buy from a known distributor and ask for a note with the full figures for each can, and check seals and caps on receipt. Record any opened can in a note and refuse it.

Should I refuse a damaged tyre?

Yes. Checking it in front of the driver and before signing is easier than proving damage days later. Photograph it and enter the lower figure in the received column.

Dashing does this for every item, automatically, in your shop.
