Label printer
A label printer is a device that prints small sticky labels with the barcode, price and name to put on an item or shelf.
What it means for a shop owner
It differs from a receipt printer, since its paper is sticky and comes in several sizes. Pick a size that fits your smallest item. Check that the printed barcode scans before you print hundreds.
A worked example
You stick 120 labels on new items in 15 minutes instead of writing each price by hand.
