An electronics invoice: every device with its serial number and warranty period.

When a device you bought a year ago breaks, two questions come up: is it still under warranty, and is this the device that was sold. The invoice answers both if it carries the serial number and the warranty months. So this template adds those two columns, with sample rows for appliances and accessories with no brands. The numbers and warranty months in them are examples and the prices are blank. It is a sheet you fill by hand, not a warranty tracking system.

Common questions

Does the template record the warranty end date?

No, it records the number of months, and the invoice date is the start. Write the invoice date at the top before printing and both customer and shop can work out the end.

Where do I get the serial number?

From the label on the back of the device or its box, often next to the barcode. Put one device per line for each number; if you sell three of the same item, each gets its own line.

What do I enter for an accessory with no warranty?

Leave serial number and warranty blank, as with the power strip in the examples. If the warranty is zero by agreement, write 0 so it shows as a decision, not an oversight.

Dashing does this for every item, automatically, in your shop.
