Recurring sales: a draft invoice created for you every cycle
For a customer you bill every week or month: make a schedule in "Recurring sales" and a draft invoice appears each cycle to confirm. Pause, resume or cancel.

Use it for supplies you deliver on a pattern: a weekly water order, a monthly subscription, a yearly service. You describe the sale once and Dashing prepares the draft on schedule.
Steps
- Open "Recurring sales" from the menu and press "New schedule".
- In "New recurring sale" enter a "Name" (for example the customer and the item), and pick the "Customer".
- Choose the "Cadence": "Daily", "Weekly", "Monthly" or "Yearly", and in "Every" how many of that period between runs.
- Set the "Start date".
- Under "Line items" press "Add a product…" and add the items and quantities, then "Save".
- The schedule appears with its "Next run". On that date a draft invoice is created; open it, check it and confirm the sale (selling with an invoice).
- Use "Run now" to create a draft immediately, "Pause" to stop and "Resume" to continue, or "Cancel" to end it. "History" lists the runs.
If it doesn't work
- "Could not save": the name, customer or at least one item is missing.
- No draft on the expected date: check the schedule is "Active" and not "Paused" or "Cancelled" in the filters.
What the system does not do
It does not charge a card or collect the money by itself, and it does not message the customer. It prepares the draft; you confirm it and collect as usual.
Common questions
- Is the invoice sent to the customer automatically?
- No. Each cycle creates a draft invoice only. You review it and confirm it when you complete the sale.
- I paused a schedule. Are the missed cycles created later?
- Pausing stops new drafts. Check "History" on the schedule to see what ran, and use "Run now" if you need one immediately.
